MY STORY
I have been a passionate medical professional since 1981, attending many health conferences to expand my knowledge. 22 years ago, I was blessed to listen to my mentor, Dr Carolyn DeMarco, a Canadian medical doctor.  At the end of her presentation, I went up and shared my passion for helping my patients find natural options for their challenges. She recommended that I add essential oils to my practice. That left me speechless, (those who know me, understand that rarely happens). Since I trusted her, I was game to look. She recommended Young Living products because of their exceptional commitment to quality and potency. 
 
I used them with my 4 children and husband and got excellent results! That gave me the confidence to take them into my Physical Therapy/Acupuncture clinic.  I chose 10 of my long-term, chronic patients, adding just one oil to the soles of their feet as part of their regular treatment.   Incredibly, 10 out of 10 of them returned reporting the best results ever! I was hooked! 

 Despite the clinical success, I avoided the income topic as I had a negative mindset towards Network Marketing.    It took a major financial crisis a few years later to open our eyes. We made some powerful moves to pivot and get our income back on track….and perhaps because of this, we started sharing more about the Young Living products with anyone else looking for a healthier lifestyle. 
 
Then the craziest thing happened.  Young Living notified us that we earned a 7-day Caribbean Cruise for two.  We didn’t know enough about Network Marketing to even know we had won and were nervous that we would be trapped on a ship with overbearing people! We went anyway.  Wow did those 7 days open our eyes and hearts to a community of amazing people. They educated us about the company and inspired us to feel good about educating others about the income option as well. 
 
Through the magic of the Network Marketing distribution model, our tiny team grew to close to 40,000 people in 36 countries. We continued to earn trips, traveling to over 40 countries, fulfilling our travel dreams. 
 
Young Living became our primary source of income, education, adventure, community and…travel.  Two of our adult children earn a full-time income and the other 2 a part time income.  Income Disclosure
 
I know it may be a long shot for my story to inspire a new story for you. We all have our own journey.  Perhaps now is a good time for something new and exciting in your life, whether it is trying products that really make a difference and/or checking out the income option.  No is a perfectly acceptable answer. Carla was featured on the Fall 2015 cover of Guided Synergy magazine, for her contribution to helping others. She has served as an examiner for the Alberta Provincial Acupuncture Licensing Exam, a government appointed member of the Alberta Acupuncture Committee and a guest lecturer in the University of Alberta, Medical Acupuncture Program. 


Carla and her husband Bill co-developed the highly successful Second Chance Facial Rejuvenation® Anti aging protocol proving that “with age comes wisdom, wrinkles are optional!®” This facial renewal procedure has been extensively researched and clinically tested over many years to bring you the most comprehensive, effective method of holistic, non invasive micro-current facial rejuvenation.
